Responsibilities

• Successfully operate multiple presses, executing precise setups and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Efficiently perform two-color set-ups on assigned presses, including cylinder preparation and plate mounting.
• Conduct thorough inspections of cylinders, plates, and other tooling/parts before and during production runs.
• Carefully review and interpret work orders, job specifications, and customer requirements for accurate press set-up.
• Operate assigned printing press, ensuring adherence to production schedules and minimizing downtime.
• Monitor print quality throughout the run, making necessary adjustments to color and ink density.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of printing press operation experience.
• Demonstrated experience operating flexographic machinery.
• Proficiency in basic math calculations.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn and demonstrate proficiency using product overlay gauges and reading shop scales.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. by hand or with lift aids, and push, pull, and turn 150 lbs. with lift aids.
• Ability to maneuver up to 1584 lbs. with a hand truck.
• Ability to continuously stand, stoop, and bend.
• Good vision, including color vision.
• Ability to learn and demonstrate basic PC skills for production reporting.
