About the position

The Flexographic Printing Press Operator plays a crucial role in the manufacturing of printed labels at MCC, a global leader in premium labels. This position involves monitoring label quality and press conditions to ensure high standards of production. The operator will work in a full-time capacity on the day shift, contributing to the company's commitment to consumer-driven innovations and sustainable packaging solutions.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.
• Report all safety concerns or issues to the immediate supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by completing daily housekeeping assignments.
• Complete make-ready in accordance with the Job Ticket and Product Specification documents.
• Perform all required quality checks related to product specifications, visual, and functional checks.
• Operate the press to produce products according to customer specifications while maintaining quality, waste, and press efficiency.
• Ensure consistent quality during production runs, including critical quality checks such as copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion.
• Complete all related procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements as outlined in the BRC standard.
• Efficiently complete press make-readies and all required equipment maintenance duties.
• Clean plates, cylinders, and ink pans, and lubricate the press as needed.
• Input all required information into the ERP system for material usage and time accurately.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience as a flexographic printing press operator or equivalent training.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with MO4 or Nilpeter Press.
