StretchLab is seeking passionate individuals to join our team as Flexologists. Founded in 2015 in Venice, California, StretchLab has established itself as the industry leader in one-on-one assisted stretching. Our co-founders, with backgrounds in personal training, have developed a range of offerings designed to empower clients to 'Live Long'. We have assembled a team of experts certified in various fields, including physical therapy, chiropractic medicine, yoga, and Pilates, and have partnered with the world's foremost authority on stretching and flexibility to ensure our clients receive the highest quality service. Our proprietary Flexologist™ training program guarantees that our clients enjoy a world-class stretching experience. As a Flexologist, you will be responsible for providing personalized assisted stretching sessions and leading guided group stretching classes. Your role will involve encouraging and motivating clients throughout their sessions, building and retaining StretchLab memberships through effective sales and outreach, and managing client care to deliver an exceptional stretching experience. You will also be responsible for ensuring client safety by applying proper stretching techniques, attending staff meetings and educational presentations, and addressing member concerns as needed. Additionally, you will assist Sales Associates and the General Manager with studio tours and sales, maintain a strong social media presence to enhance client membership and retention, and ensure that all equipment is clean and ready for client use at all times.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions
- Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions
- Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele through sales and outreach to leads
- Manage client care by delivering a best-in-class stretching experience, updating client notes consistently, and booking client's weekly recurring appointments
- Ensure the safety of clients in regards to proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules
- Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations
- Handle member concerns when applicable
- Assist Sales Associates and General Manager with studio tour and sales as needed
- Maintain strong social media presence to client membership and retention
- Clean and maintain all equipment in order to ensure it is available for client use at any given time
Requirements
- Love of boutique fitness environment is a must - passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility
- Previous experience as a Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer, Physical Therapist, or Pilates or Yoga Instructor
- Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you providing hands-on training with a client
- Fitness certification required
- Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people
- Fantastic communication skills and exudes empathy
- Must love connecting with people and have a passion for helping them achieve goals
- Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable and adhere to our attendance policies
- Degree in a related field such as Exercise Science or Kinesiology (not required)
- Must be available to go through our 3 day Flexologist Training Program™, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 3 days of in-person/hands-on training
