About the position

As a Flight Data Analyst at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will leverage your data analysis skills to transform complex data sets into actionable insights that support defense missions. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their data needs, conducting thorough analyses, and advising on the implications of the data to drive impactful decisions within the Department of Defense (DoD).

Responsibilities

• Analyze structured and unstructured data to provide meaningful insights.
• Work closely with clients to understand their data-related questions and needs.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of data to identify opportunities for improved business processes.
• Utilize data architecture and modeling to organize and define data in support of mission objectives.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting on system components to ensure interoperability.
• Apply statistical methodologies to evaluate the reliability and utilization of legacy systems.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with data analysis, data visualization, data management, data governance, data strategy, data policy, or data engineering.
• 2+ years of experience with data extraction languages, such as Python.
• Experience analyzing archived data to optimize existing database programs.
• Knowledge of the Air-to-Air Infrastructure (AARI) Instrumentation Ground Station and the Nellis Air Combat Training System (NACTS).
• Ability to perform testing and troubleshooting on hardware and software systems.
• Secret clearance required.
• HS diploma or GED.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in multiple Range systems and Open-Air Real-Time tracking programs.
• Experience coordinating with agencies for real-time troubleshooting during missions.
• Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.
