About the position

As a Flight Data Analyst at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will play a crucial role in transforming complex data sets into meaningful insights that support the mission of the Department of Defense (DoD). Your primary responsibility will be to dive deep into both structured and unstructured data, helping clients understand their data-rich environments and providing them with actionable insights. You will work closely with clients to identify their questions and needs, and then utilize your analytical skills to uncover the pieces of their information puzzle. This position is client-facing, meaning you will not only analyze data but also advise clients on its implications and how it can be leveraged to drive impactful decisions within the DoD. In this role, you will conduct ongoing assessments of automated equipment, including evaluating equipment locations, usage, costs, and acquisition processes. You will utilize data architecture and modeling to organize and define the interrelationships of data, ensuring that it aligns with the mission, goals, and strategies of the organization. Your experience with multiple Range systems and Open-Air Real-Time tracking programs will be essential as you coordinate with various agencies for real-time troubleshooting and correction of deficiencies during high-cost missions. Additionally, you will be responsible for collecting Time Space Position Information (TSPI) to facilitate post-mission analysis and reporting. Your ability to perform testing, troubleshoot issues, and correct problems related to system components will be vital in ensuring the interoperability of hardware, software, and applications. You will apply statistical and evaluative methodologies to assess the security, reliability, and utilization of legacy systems, determining whether enhancements or replacements are necessary to meet organizational needs. This position requires a Secret clearance, and candidates with a Top Secret clearance and a Bachelor's degree will be preferred.
