About the position

The Flight Operations Coordinator at AirStar Inc. is responsible for managing flight logistics and providing exceptional service to clients in the private charter industry. This role involves scheduling flights, coordinating passenger services, and maintaining strong relationships with aircraft owners and operators. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all aspects of flight operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Professionally interact with aircraft owners, operators, brokers, and clients.
• Provide exceptional service and maintain strong client relationships.
• Schedule flights and manage itineraries using fleet management software.
• Communicate flight schedules with owners, clients, associates, and flight crew.
• Problem-solve and offer solutions to meet client travel needs.
• Coordinate all aspects of passenger services, including catering and ground transportation.
• Manage flight logistics: ground handling, fuel, permits, and customs for domestic and international flights.
• Oversee aircraft movements and assist flight crews with in-flight operational changes.

Requirements

• Entry-level; training provided for motivated candidates.
• Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to manage relationships with internal and external clients.
• Highly organized, able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Quick learner with ability to use JetInsight (fleet management software), Microsoft Outlook, and Teams.
• Collaborative team player, able to work in a team-oriented environment.
