About The Position
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Patuxent River, Maryland is seeking an Aeronautical Engineer Sr to join the Flying Qualities and Performance team. In this role, you will support flight test activities at Patuxent River Naval Air Station on the F-35B and F-35C aircraft as part of the Air Vehicle (AV) Department. The AV flight science disciplines are responsible for verification and expansion of capabilities in developmental and operational test. In this role, you will be tasked with test planning, preparing test predictions, supporting test flight briefings/debriefings, providing real time control room monitoring during test flights, requesting/analyzing post-flight data, post-test reporting, and supporting anomaly resolution. The successful candidate will have an interest in test engineering.
