About the position

As a Multi Domain Control System (MDCS) Flight Test Engineer at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, you will play a crucial role in supporting test efforts for unmanned air systems. This position involves ground station operation, test procedure development, and real-time control room assistance during both ground and flight test operations. You will collaborate with various engineering teams to design, develop, integrate, and test mission system equipment on airborne platforms, ensuring that customer requirements are met and anomalies are resolved efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for test efforts for unmanned air systems.
• Develop test procedures and assist in real-time control room operations during tests.
• Interface between air systems, pilots, and ground system teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Design, develop, integrate, and test mission system equipment onto airborne platforms.
• Contribute to the development of System Integration Labs, Deployable Shelters, and Fixed Facilities.
• Coordinate local efforts with flight test efforts and resolve problems as they arise.
• Support Hardware and Software Engineering teams in their testing efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related STEM degree, or applicable experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with UAV technology.
• DoD Secret Clearance required.
