About The Position

The Flight Tracking Specialist is responsible for the strategic oversight of day-to-day flight operations, accountable for validating and staying informed on the status of all flight activities. As one of the primary points of contact for the current day flight schedule, the Flight Tracking Specialist will collaborate with crew members and owner service specialists on pertinent information as it relates to executing the schedule, or client logistics of a flight. They will work closely with supervisors and management to convey solutions on operational issues. Maintain awareness to weather and traffic management initiatives that will have an impact on the schedule. Additional duties include analyzing and communicating a crew members duty day with the Flight Department and other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school.
• 1-3 years of related experience preferably in an aviation/logistics environment.
• Knowledge of FARs in regard to Part 91, 121, or 135 airline operations is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and aptitude to learn customized company software programs.
