About the position
The Sales and Service Representative (Teller) at First Citizens Bank is responsible for processing transactions and providing exceptional customer service in a branch environment. This role involves engaging with customers to understand their banking needs, facilitating education about bank services, and supporting the sales efforts of the branch team by identifying and referring sales opportunities. The position requires flexibility and adaptability as it involves coverage across multiple branches.
Responsibilities
- Engaging customers in conversation to understand their banking needs and preferences
- Processing transactions accurately and efficiently
- Providing assistance with account servicing needs
- Facilitating customer awareness and education of bank services, including digital banking capabilities
- Introducing customers to other branch team members or bank partners who are able to provide solutions for their financial needs
- Providing coverage to multiple branches.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6 months customer service experience
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Financial literacy
- Knowledge of retail banking products and services
