About the position
The Float Client Relationship Consultant 4 (Banker) at U.S. Bank is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients across multiple branch locations. This role emphasizes proactive engagement with customers to assess their banking needs and provide tailored financial solutions. The consultant will work in a digital-first environment, educating clients on available products and services while ensuring an optimal client experience.
Responsibilities
- Build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow-up.
- Engage with clients via multiple channels including in-person, by appointment, and virtually.
- Assess and attend to customers' banking needs, obtaining and processing customer and account information.
- Demonstrate and educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services.
- Recommend solutions based on each customer's unique goals and needs.
- Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
- Proactively educate clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services.
- Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Typically has five or more years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.

- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
- Advanced knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems.
