About the position

OrthoArizona is seeking dedicated Medical Assistants to join their team, providing exceptional orthopedic and musculoskeletal care to the Greater Phoenix community. This full-time position involves supporting physicians in various clinics, with opportunities for career growth and development in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and treatment, including taking vitals and recording patient history.
• Input and maintain appropriate EMR documentation.
• Prepare examination rooms, ensuring they are clean, well-organized, and equipped with necessary supplies.
• Prepare injections, remove and apply splints and casts, and apply dressings.
• Support physicians and nurses during patient examinations and treatments.
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and monitoring voicemail and phone calls.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Current CPR certification
• At least one year of experience in a medical office
