Responsibilities

• Receive specimens and establish positive identification of specimens.
• Determine the suitability of specimens and may reject unsuitable specimens.
• Acquire and prepare reagents as needed.
• Perform instrument maintenance and calibration.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a relevant field.
• Current Certification of Medical Laboratory Technician, MLT (ASCP)CM or MLT (ASCP) or registry eligible.
• Current Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist Certification or eligible if duties will include phlebotomy.
• Minimum one (1) year of previous laboratory experience preferred.
