About the position

As a Floater Bilingual Leasing Agent at Greenline Apartment Management, you will play a crucial role in the leasing process for our apartment communities located in Houston, TX. This position requires a proactive and customer-oriented individual who can effectively communicate in both English and Spanish. You will be responsible for adhering to Greenline's Leasing and Marketing, Management and Operations, Maintenance, and Emergency Procedures manuals, ensuring that all operations align with company standards. Your primary duties will include answering phone calls, following up with potential residents, and conducting tours of the apartments. You will be the first point of contact for prospective tenants, guiding them through the leasing process from introduction to occupancy. In this role, you will prepare and complete all leasing paperwork, including lease agreements, and ensure that all necessary move-in items such as keys and parking permits are ready prior to the resident's move-in date. You will also be responsible for responding to resident requests and resolving any issues that may arise, which may involve creating service requests. A thorough understanding of the community and its competition is essential, as you will need to maintain knowledge of local businesses, hiring trends, and new construction in the area. Additionally, you will prepare weekly and monthly market surveys to keep track of market conditions. You will report to the Assistant Community Manager in the absence of the Community Manager and may be required to work overtime to meet customer service standards. Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Greenline's Operations Manuals and Team Member Handbook.
  • Answer phone calls and follow up with all traffic, inputting information into the appropriate system.
  • Greet clients and conduct tours of the apartments, selling the community's products and services.
  • Manage the leasing process from introduction to occupancy, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Inspect apartments before move-in to ensure they meet Greenline standards.
  • Prepare and complete all leasing paperwork, including lease agreements.
  • Obtain move-in keys, remotes, and parking permits prior to resident move-in dates.
  • Respond to resident requests and resolve problems, including creating service requests.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the community and competition, including market trends and nearby businesses.
  • Prepare weekly and/or monthly market surveys.
  • Participate in resident functions and Greenline-sponsored activities.
  • Report to the Assistant Community Manager in the absence of the Community Manager.
  • Work overtime as necessary to meet customer service standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of sales experience required.
  • Experience in apartment leasing or customer service-related industry preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in both languages.
  • Demonstrated sales skills, including generating leads, conducting presentations, and closing sales.
  • Mathematical skills at high school level to calculate rents and deposits.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office.
