About the position

The Floater Bilingual Leasing Agent position at Greenline Apartment Management involves leasing apartments and providing exceptional customer service to residents. The role requires effective communication in both English and Spanish, as well as the ability to manage the leasing process from initial contact to resident move-in. The agent will work closely with management and participate in community events, contributing to a positive living environment.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Greenline's Operations Manuals and Team Member Handbook.
  • Answer phone calls and follow up with all traffic, inputting information into the appropriate system.
  • Greet clients and conduct tours of the apartments.
  • Manage the leasing process from introduction to occupancy of residents.
  • Inspect apartments before move-in to ensure they meet Greenline standards.
  • Prepare and complete all leasing paperwork, including leases.
  • Obtain move-in keys, remotes, and parking permits prior to resident move-in.
  • Respond to resident requests and resolve problems, including creating service requests.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the community and competition, including market trends.
  • Prepare weekly and/or monthly market surveys.
  • Participate in resident functions and Greenline-sponsored activities.
  • Report to the Assistant Community Manager in the absence of the Community Manager.
  • Work overtime as necessary to meet customer service standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of sales experience.
  • Apartment leasing experience or experience in a customer service-related industry preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
  • Demonstrated sales skills, including generating leads and closing sales.
  • Mathematical skills at high school level for calculating rents and deposits.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office.
  • National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) certification preferred.
  • Fair Housing training preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in retail sales or hospitality.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
