The Floater/Customer Service Representative position at LAZ Parking is a dynamic role that requires flexibility across two key departments: Call Center and Cashier. The Floater is responsible for covering staff absences and ensuring optimal service levels during peak times. This role demands strong customer service skills, adaptability, and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately while providing a positive experience for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Cover planned time off for staff in the Call Center and Cashier departments.
  • Greet and engage customers exiting the facility, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and provide correct change.
  • Assist customers with inquiries or issues at the point of exit.
  • Answer inbound calls and assist with inquiries, complaints, or service requests in a professional manner.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues and dispatch service requests as needed.
  • Monitor live wall alerts to ensure smooth facility operations.
  • Complete daily reports and assist in staffing the exit or entry booth during peak hours.
  • Communicate effectively with management, supervisors, and traffic directors.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Cash handling experience is required.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in English.
  • Proficient in basic math skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make firm decisions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.
