About the position

The Floating Branch Manager is responsible for coaching and mentoring branch staff to achieve sales and service goals while fostering a positive service culture. This role involves maintaining high service standards, developing staff, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures to protect the branch's reputation and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals and objectives clearly.
  • Identify training needs and develop plans to meet those needs.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients and demonstrate excellent customer service.
  • Participate in community activities to promote the organization.
  • Collaborate with other managers on advertising, marketing, and growth campaigns.
  • Assist with the start-up and development of new branches as needed.
  • Ensure all work in the branch meets high standards and complies with policies and procedures.
  • Monitor key products and sales to ensure profitable business practices.
  • Ensure compliance with security and internal control procedures, receiving clean audit reports.
  • Manage branch security and safety, following procedures and minimizing risks.
  • Attend regular training on compliance issues related to the Branch Manager role.
  • Complete timely performance appraisals for employees and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel to all branches in the field of membership.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
  • Skill in operating a personal computer and using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in the branch, with at least one year as an assistant branch manager highly preferred.
