About the position

We are currently seeking a Leasing Agent that will work at our apartment communities in Las Vegas, NV. The Leasing Agent position is full time. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be the driving force in helping residents find the best place to call home. You are the face of our properties and only the best need apply. Your creative and thoughtful tours will be customized to individual tastes, from recommending the perfect floorplan to outlining the best new neighborhood restaurants. You know what makes people tick, and follow through on every lead to ensure that our prospective residents know you care. You will possess incredible customer service skills, with a knack for creating a sense of community and the drive to go the extra mile to create a spectacular experience for new residents. Your success and purpose are driven by the relationships that you build. You will also need sales and marketing chops, as your personalized connections and recommendations drive our leasing performance. Your ability to create excitement through creative campaigns, continuous outreach, and social media will fuel community engagement and follow-through. By understanding what's important to our prospective residents, you will continuously reach out with tailored updates, helping to paint a picture of what it's like to call your community home. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of leasing, including touring, answering phones, appointment settings, lead tracking, creative marketing, updating online ads, and processing applications. You will interact daily with current and prospective residents and vendors, complete resident move-ins and move-outs in compliance with company procedures, conduct daily property walks and unit inspections, and maintain the safety and security of the apartment community at all times. You will also be responsible for entering daily work order submissions, following up to determine resident service satisfaction, and developing resident retention programs. Attendance and punctuality are essential job functions, and you will need to exercise confidentiality in all business and resident matters.

Responsibilities

  • Touring the property and showcasing available units to prospective residents.
  • Answering phones and setting appointments for property tours.
  • Tracking leads and following up with prospective residents.
  • Creating and implementing creative marketing strategies to attract new residents.
  • Updating online advertisements and posting daily to promote available units.
  • Opening and closing vacant units, including setting up and removing mini models.
  • Accepting and processing rental applications and inquiries.
  • Placing marketing banners, balloons, or flags daily to enhance property visibility.
  • Conducting daily property walks and unit inspections to ensure safety and security.
  • Entering and creating daily work order submissions and following up on resident service satisfaction.
  • Communicating effectively with maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Developing and utilizing resident retention programs to enhance community engagement.
  • Completing daily and weekly reports on leasing activities and property status.
  • Responding promptly to resident complaints, concerns, or requests for assistance.
  • Maintaining confidentiality regarding business and resident matters.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of experience in customer service.
  • Minimum two years of experience in sales.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Yardi experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, and apartment management.
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and meet established deadlines.
  • Valid Driver License.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in personnel management.
  • Ability to relocate to North Las Vegas, NV before starting work.
