About the position

The Leasing Agent position is a full-time role based in Las Vegas, NV, responsible for assisting prospective residents in finding their ideal apartment. The agent serves as the face of the property, conducting personalized tours, managing leads, and fostering a sense of community. This role requires strong customer service skills, sales and marketing abilities, and a genuine desire to help residents and colleagues alike.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct tours of the apartment community for prospective residents.
  • Answer phone calls and set appointments for property visits.
  • Track leads and follow up with prospective residents.
  • Create and implement creative marketing strategies to attract new residents.
  • Update online advertisements and post daily to promote available units.
  • Open and close vacant units, and set up or remove mini models as needed.
  • Process applications and accept deposits from prospective residents.
  • Place marketing banners, balloons, or flags to enhance property visibility.
  • Interact daily with current and prospective residents and vendors.
  • Complete resident move-in and move-out procedures in compliance with company policies.
  • Conduct daily property walks and unit inspections to ensure safety and security.
  • Enter and create daily work order submissions and follow up on resident service satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs.
  • Develop and utilize resident retention programs to enhance community satisfaction.
  • Complete daily and weekly reports on leasing activities and resident interactions.
  • Respond promptly to resident complaints, concerns, or requests.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding business and resident matters.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of experience in customer service.
  • Minimum two years of experience in sales.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Yardi experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, and apartment management.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in personnel management.
