About the position

The Floating Leasing Professional at Greystar is responsible for coordinating marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals. This role involves performing all leasing activities, ensuring resident satisfaction, and securing lease renewals while maintaining high standards for property presentation and marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve the community's revenue and occupancy goals by greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting community tours, and showing apartments.
• Process applications, credit screening, and criminal background checks, prepare the lease and move-in package, and ensure a smooth resident move-in and lease signing.
• Inspect apartments prior to resident move-in and ensure they are in move-in ready condition, scheduling any outstanding items with the maintenance team.
• Stay informed about current market and competitor conditions that may impact occupancy and sales results, developing and implementing marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing activities to drive traffic to the community, including resident referral and employer outreach programs.
• Use property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track apartment availability, record leasing activities, and manage resident data.
• Ensure the community and show units meet company standards for show quality by inspecting the marketing corridor and leasing tour.
• Follow up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction and finalize leasing decisions.
• Execute activities in support of the community's lease renewal program, preparing renewal letters and packages for residents.
• Respond quickly and courteously to resident and client concerns, taking prompt action to solve problems.

Requirements

• Investment management experience
• Proficiency in Yardi and OneSite software
• Valid driver's license
• Entry-level position
