We are seeking a reliable and skilled Floating Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team at Corcoran Management Company. This full-time position is essential for maintaining the physical condition of our properties across various locations, including Lowell, Billerica, Chelmsford, Woburn, Lynnfield, Shrewsbury, Worcester, and other neighboring areas. The technician will be responsible for addressing daily maintenance requests, ensuring that all tasks are executed professionally and expediently. This role requires a proactive approach to emergency maintenance needs, including emergency flood situations and back-to-back move-ins. The technician will perform a variety of tasks, including appliance maintenance, smoke detector installations, and light fixture removals. Additionally, routine cosmetic updates such as painting, changing screens, and replacing windows will be part of the job. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of the equipment necessary for repairs, including electrical and mechanical systems, and will be adept at identifying and resolving safety concerns. Candidates should have at least six months of trade experience or building maintenance experience. Specialized trade experience in plumbing, electrical, roofing, or HVAC is a plus. The position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with an on-call rotation expected.
