In this position, we are seeking a highly skilled technical professional to provide key expertise to our exceptional automated manufacturing capabilities. The Floor Automation Engineer will utilize Vis Plant monitoring software to review cycle times of automation, as well as review and follow up on automation projects and installations. This role is critical in ensuring that our automated systems operate efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing processes. The engineer will be responsible for using FIS Plant monitoring software to review faults and cycle times of automation, ensuring that any issues are promptly addressed. Additionally, the engineer will utilize QLS Plant Quality software to review quality concerns and assist with cut-offs and resolutions, playing a vital role in maintaining high-quality standards in our production lines. Troubleshooting is a key aspect of this position, as the engineer will need to address PLC issues, Robot Application issues, and other critical inputs to the Sealing and Painting Process. The ability to review prints, AutoCAD, interpret, and modify electrical schematics is essential. The engineer will also be responsible for updating program backups for automation and programming new installations for Paint Automation and conveyor systems. Furthermore, the engineer will reprogram automation for engineering changes, throughput, and quality improvements. Coordination of automation repairs is also part of the role, which includes using Maximo to generate CWO and 4D's accordingly. Understanding, monitoring, and adjusting spray booth conditions to ensure quality targets are achieved is another critical responsibility of this position.
