Responsibilities
- Maintain all types of industrial flooring and perform janitorial responsibilities for large commercial businesses.
- Stripping and refinishing of VCT and ESD tile flooring.
- Maintenance of VCT and ESD tile flooring.
- Floor machine scrubbing, dam mopping, spray buffing and burnishing.
- Carpet care, vacuuming, spot/stain removal and operation of carpet cleaning equipment.
- Fixing and maintaining janitorial equipment.
- Support manufacturing and laboratory spaces with janitorial experience.
- Perform non-custodial related general maintenance activities as required.
Requirements
- Must have a safety first mindset and work history.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrate an aptitude to inspect cleanliness conditions, determine needs, and perform appropriate processes.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently while meeting predetermined requirements.
- FOD cleaning, stripping and finishing VCT (tile) floors experience.
- Extraction of carpets and knowledge of cleaning equipment both hard floor and carpets.
- Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Lift 50 lbs.
Nice-to-haves
- General computer skills.
- 5+ years' experience in custodial, janitorial or general maintenance positions.
- Experience working in electronic manufacturing environment.
- Experience working in ESD sensitive areas.
- Experience working in FOD sensitive areas.
