About the position

The Floor Care Technician at TANDEM LIVING is responsible for performing various floor care and custodial tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety in public areas. This role includes scrubbing, buffing, stripping, and waxing floors, as well as extracting carpets. The technician will work in alignment with the company's core values and mission, contributing to a positive living environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Strips, waxes, and buffs tile floors in public areas using appropriate floor care equipment.
• Vacuums hallways and public areas.
• Performs daily spot checking and removes any spots/stains on carpets.
• Cleans carpets using carpet extractor and cleans various public areas.
• Moves furniture to clean floors or hard to reach areas as needed.
• Operates TANDEM LIVING company vehicle as needed.

Requirements

• A valid PA driver's license with a minimum of two (2) years of driving experience required.
• Previous floor care experience preferred but not required.
