Responsibilities

• Serve as team lead for the entire housekeeping staff, assigning and reviewing work.
• Oversee critical tasks such as keeping the staff on schedule and inspecting public areas and guest rooms for cleanliness.
• Manage laundry operations and ensure timely turnover of checkout rooms.
• Interact with hotel guests in a polite and positive manner.
• Provide training and guidance for housekeeping staff on hotel Standard Operating Procedures and departmental standards.
• Monitor purchasing costs and labor expenses.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of related experience in housekeeping or hospitality.
• Strong customer service skills and a passion for creating a positive team culture.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a supervisory role within housekeeping.
• Knowledge of hotel Standard Operating Procedures.
