The Floor Staff at Xscape Theatre in Jeffersonville is a part-time, seasonal role ideal for movie enthusiasts. Responsibilities

• Exhibit excellent guest service skills.
• Present a calm demeanor to deter disruptive conduct and encourage positive interactions with guests.
• Answer guest questions courteously and accurately or direct them to the appropriate resource.
• Work effectively with management, supervisors, and co-workers.
• Demonstrate consistent and effective sales techniques.
• Meet sales expectations through Xscape's Movie Rewards Card programs, gift cards, suggestive selling, upselling, and merchandising.
• Complete transactions by greeting each guest, identifying their request, operating point-of-sale terminals, making change accurately, and thanking guests.
• Ensure the security of all cash, receipts, and tickets.
• Enforce and uphold the Movie Ratings System courteously and effectively regarding ID checking policy.
• Distribute and ensure proper working order of Assisted Moviegoing Equipment (ADA Equipment).
• Clean and maintain the exterior and interior areas of the theatre, including auditoriums, restrooms, lobbies, concession areas, and parking lot areas.
• Control access to the theatre and monitor auditoriums for picture and sound quality, temperature, lighting levels, guest behavior, and film piracy.
• Perform daily stocking and maintenance duties.
• Follow all procedures to ensure a safe work environment for guests and staff.
• Maintain regular personal attendance for all scheduled shifts.
• Assist with other team member functions and perform other duties as directed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, twist, and bend frequently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry it up to 90 feet.

Nice-to-haves

• Spanish speaking ability is a plus.
