About the position

The Floor Supervisor/Assistant Manager at Kabuki Romanza is responsible for ensuring a positive dining experience for guests by overseeing restaurant operations and staff. This role requires leadership skills, reliability, and punctuality, with a focus on maintaining high standards of service and compliance with health and safety regulations. The position involves direct interaction with guests and staff, ensuring that all operational standards are met and that the restaurant environment is welcoming and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Oversee guest experiences to ensure satisfaction during dining.
• Enforce sanitary practices for food handling and cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards and company policies.
• Maintain high quality of food preparation and service.
• Monitor food and beverage costs based on inventory reports.
• Supervise front-of-house staff to provide proper dining experiences and service steps.
• Handle revenues, including bar drawers and server checkouts.
• Assist with special events as needed.
• Greet all guests warmly and maintain professional restaurant image.
• Ensure cleaning tasks are completed daily.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years of leadership experience required.
• 2 years of shift management experience required.
• 2 years of supervising experience required.
• 2 years of restaurant experience required.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
• Positive interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Valid Texas Food Handlers and TABC certification required upon employment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in cooking (1 year preferred).
