About the position
The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining and restoring various types of flooring, ensuring cleanliness and safety in the workplace. This role involves operating industrial floor care equipment and performing essential cleaning tasks such as stripping, waxing, and shampooing carpets. The position is full-time and requires a commitment to quality and safety in all cleaning procedures.
Responsibilities
- Stripping and waxing floors
- Shampooing carpets and chairs
- Cleaning windows
- Operating industrial floor care equipment
- Utilizing automated equipment for large area cleaning
- Performing maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
- Following safety procedures during cleaning tasks
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Requirements
- Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred
- Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
- Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
