About the position

The Floor Technician is responsible for performing floor care cleaning services, window cleaning, and general janitorial duties in accordance with client and company standards. This role emphasizes quality workmanship, punctuality, and compliance with safety and procedural standards, ensuring customer satisfaction through meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care cleaning services, including stripping/refinishing hard surface floors and carpet care/extraction.
• Conduct window cleaning and general janitorial duties as per client and company standards.
• Maintain floor care equipment and ensure it is clean and in good operating order.
• Inspect assigned areas to verify compliance with site-specific procedures and client's Scope of Work (SOW).
• Ensure all supplies are stocked and available for use.
• Track inventory and equipment, providing feedback to the direct manager.
• Promote safety as a culture among team members and adhere to all safety programs.

Requirements

• 1+ year of floor technician experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of floor care products and procedures.
• Working knowledge of multiple hard floor surfaces (marble, granite, VCT, etc.).
• Ability to perform window cleaning and power washing duties.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills; Spanish is a plus.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
