About the position

The Flooring Design Consultant - Mobile Showroom at Rite Rug Flooring is a full-time role focused on assisting customers with the design and selection of flooring products through mobile showrooms. This position offers unlimited earning potential with uncapped commissions, allowing top performers to earn over $150,000 annually. The consultant is responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, conducting sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the flooring selection and installation process.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Conduct sales to outside retail customers, B2B sales, and area realtors.
• Determine customers' needs and match them appropriately with our products.
• Promote and sell all Rite Rug flooring products and services.
• Take measurements for installation.
• Receive and process payments according to Rite Rug procedures.
• Follow up to ensure that the job is completed to the customer's satisfaction.
• Develop a thorough knowledge of all flooring products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Flooring experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
• Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties effectively.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Comfortable working with and learning computer systems.
• Eager to learn and grow.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience using Measure Square or RFMS Measure software.
