About the position

The Flooring Field Superintendent at Encore Design Services is responsible for overseeing flooring installation crews and subcontractors in the residential construction sector. This role involves managing day-to-day activities to ensure successful project outcomes, supporting the Project Management/Operations team, and coordinating with builders and flooring vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage flooring installation crews and subcontractors for new home construction projects.
• Perform pre and post inspections to ensure timely installations.
• Coordinate tile, carpet, and surround installations with multiple builders.
• Work directly with flooring installers to facilitate daily installations.
• Support scheduling and project management activities.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in construction or flooring industry.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Supervising experience in a construction environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in computer skills.
