About the position

The Lead Sport Court® Flooring Installer/Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the installation of gymnasium flooring and related equipment. This role requires a strong background in construction and equipment assembly, along with excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate will lead a team in various projects, ensuring quality and efficiency while maintaining communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Install Sport Court® flooring for various projects including indoor, outdoor, residential, and commercial.
• Install components such as basketball goals, court lighting, court net systems, wall pads, volleyball equipment, and bleachers.
• Lay out centerlines and ensure square installation of flooring.
• Cut flooring to fit around door frames and columns.
• Paint game lines and install base molding and doorway transitions.
• Pinpoint locations for equipment installation and attach to appropriate surfaces.
• Utilize scissor lifts, scaffolding, and ladders for installation tasks.
• Perform concrete coring as needed.
• Verify product style/color and quantity before starting installation.
• Address customer inquiries during the job and conduct a walk-through upon completion.
• Report any changes in project scope or delays to the owner.
• Ensure team efficiency and quality of work, addressing any errors promptly.

Requirements

• 5 years of construction experience.
• Experience as a Lead Installer working with a team is required.
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle with auto insurance.
• Ability to work full-time Monday to Friday.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
