The Floral Designer & Customer Service Representative role at Karen's Floral is a part-time position that combines creativity in floral design with customer service and occasional delivery responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for flowers and a customer-first mindset, working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to create beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions while assisting customers with their selections.

Responsibilities

• Create beautiful and unique floral arrangements for various occasions (weddings, events, birthdays, etc.).
• Greet and assist customers with selecting flowers, taking orders in-store, over the phone, and online.
• Provide professional advice on floral arrangements, plant care, and gift selections.
• Assist with local deliveries when needed, ensuring flowers are delivered on time and in perfect condition.
• Work closely with other designers and management to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

• A passion for floral design and creativity in crafting floral arrangements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
• Basic knowledge of flower types, care techniques, and design principles.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to assist with local deliveries as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or floral design is a plus, but not required.
