About the position

Lena's Flowers and Gifts is seeking an experienced floral/wedding designer to join our family-owned flower shop. The role involves creating customized floral arrangements for weddings, events, and funerals, ensuring professional execution and high-quality designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design and customer service, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce everyday floral arrangements, funeral arrangements, and wedding florals including centerpieces and bridal party florals.
• Receive and process flowers for arrangements.
• Deliver and set up floral designs on-site for weddings and events.
• Follow design samples to ensure consistency and quality in floral arrangements.
• Collaborate with team members to meet client needs and expectations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in floral design.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Mid-level POS experience.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Dependable transportation to commute to work.
