About the position
We are seeking a creative and passionate Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design and retail sales, with the ability to create stunning arrangements for various occasions. This role requires excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, as well as the ability to interact positively with customers. Knowledge of e-commerce platforms is a plus, as we aim to expand our online presence.
Responsibilities
- Design and create floral arrangements for various events, including weddings, funerals, and corporate functions.
- Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their needs and preferences.
- Maintain inventory of flowers, supplies, and equipment; ensure freshness and quality of products.
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Manage e-commerce orders, ensuring timely fulfillment and delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
- Engage in landscape maintenance tasks as needed, including planting and caring for garden displays.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
- Proficiency in floral design techniques with a creative flair for arrangement aesthetics.
- Strong retail sales experience with the ability to effectively sell products to customers.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and orders efficiently.
- Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers accurately.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices is beneficial.
- Ability to communicate effectively; proficiency in Spanish is a plus for customer interactions.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms to assist in online sales initiatives.
