About the position
The Flower Technician role involves performing various plant maintenance activities to ensure the healthy growth of high-quality flowers for patients and consumers. This position requires adherence to safety and compliance regulations within the heavily regulated cannabis industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform plant maintenance activities including defoliation, pruning, and skirting with precision and dexterity.
- Meet production goals and maintain a high level of performance.
- Follow department-specific work instructions and SOPs.
- Recognize different strains and their requirements, growth patterns, and identify anomalies within the plants.
- Work effectively in a team-oriented environment while accomplishing individual tasks.
- Report safety incidents and comply with follow-up actions.
- Maintain and calibrate tools, equipment, and machinery as directed.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or certifications preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a valid state ID.
- Ability to obtain and maintain state badging requirements to work in the cannabis industry.
