About the position

The Product Support Senior Logistics Analyst at SMX will play a crucial role in supporting the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) Project Office. This hybrid position requires extensive experience in product support and life cycle sustainment, focusing on improving material availability, reliability, and reducing operational costs through predictive analyses and modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Use predictive analyses and modeling tools to develop COAs for improving material availability and reliability.
• Perform studies and use modeling tools like Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) to determine accessibility, diagnostics, repair, and sparing requirements.
• Conduct modeling analysis for manpower factors and lifecycle supportability design.
• Analyze logistics information to adjust performance requirements and resource allocations across product support integrators.
• Translate materiel system requirements into engineering and logistics support documentation.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive product support strategies for the FLRAA system.
• Implement product support arrangements to achieve desired outcomes.
• Support Business Case Analyses (BCA) for FLRAA product support strategies.
• Maintain logistics-related statutory and regulatory program documentation.
• Review and provide input to FLRAA program documentation, including Acquisition Strategy and Capability Development Document.

Requirements

• 8 years of experience in developing and executing product support strategies.
• 8 years of relevant experience in product support and life-cycle sustainment modeling.
• Experience with life cycle management and supply chain modeling software.
• Knowledge in managing, planning, and executing complex projects.
• Ability to support complex acquisition development and logistics projects.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Expert level familiarity with Microsoft Office products.

Nice-to-haves

• 8 years of experience developing and executing product support modeling strategies for Aviation acquisition programs.
