Responsibilities

• Administer flu shots to participants
• Monitor participant reactions to vaccinations during the administration of shots
• Establish trust and keep participants calm
• Comply with recordkeeping and reporting requirements set by CHC and the CDC
• Ensure that vaccinations are stored correctly and securely
• Maintain an accurate inventory of supplies and vaccine in possession at all times and return all unused supplies and vaccine timely
• Pre-event preparation and post-event reconciliation at vaccination and wellness events
• Ability to work independently or under the direction of a lead vaccination nurse

Requirements

• Valid RN, LPN, or EMT License in the state where the job is being performed
• Minimum of an associate degree in nursing
• Prior experience administering flu shots preferred
• Bilingual: English/Spanish is a plus
• Basic mathematical skills
• Proficient computer skills with knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Sound judgment and business acumen skills
