About the position

The Fluid Technician role involves providing Fluid Management and Engineering Services across various industries, including Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, and Defense. The primary focus is on monitoring and maintaining metalworking fluids, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform fluid sampling for concentration control using refractometer and titration.
• Maintain the Fluid Management Dashboard.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to the customer management team.
• Coordinate fluid recharges with the maintenance team lead.
• Manage inventory and purchase fluids as needed.
• Coordinate fluid changeouts with the maintenance team.
• Provide metalworking concentrate adds to customers and monitor lubricant adds.
• Maintain the fluids and lubricant storage area.

Requirements

• Experience in handling Metalworking/Manufacturing Fluids and/or Machine Lubricants preferred.
• Knowledge or experience with electrical and/or hydraulic systems is valuable.
• Ability to follow directions and work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of fluid dynamics.
