About the position

The FLX Account Executive at FOX is responsible for driving sales for the Fox Local Extension (FLX) OTT platform. This role involves developing a robust sales pipeline, maintaining client relationships, and collaborating with various departments to optimize client campaigns. The position is based in Tampa, FL, and requires a proactive approach to business development in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline of qualified clients for the FLX OTT platform.
• Source new sales opportunities through research and outbound communication.
• Maintain a consistent presence in the field to build relationships and present the FLX platform benefits.
• Become a product expert to assist in proposal development and campaign reporting.
• Collaborate with the Research Director to create custom presentations highlighting FLX benefits.
• Maintain expert knowledge of competitive OTT platforms and FLX's advantages.
• Steward client campaigns and develop impactful post-campaign recaps with recommendations.
• Work closely with the Digital Sales Manager on RFPs and presentations for impactful campaigns.
• Maintain positive relationships with Ad-Ops, creative services, and finance departments.

Requirements

• Experience with daily high-volume sales activity in a B2B sales environment.
• A sales hunter mentality with the ability to consult with clients.
• Experience managing a book of business and organizing/planning in a fast-paced environment.
• Thrives in a metrics and results-driven sales culture with a proven track record.
• Experience in building rapport and preparing presentations.
• Established OTT/Digital relationships to impact the sales team immediately.
• Digital Video Advertising and/or Digital Agency/Digital Publisher experience preferred.
• Strong written/oral communications, presentation, and account management skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
• College degree (or equivalent work experience) and 1 to 3 years digital sales experience required.
