The Fly by Wire Flight Controls Engineer - TS II position at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation involves a critical role within the Flight Controls team, which is responsible for the design, development, integration, and certification of the Gulfstream Flight Control Systems across all large cabin programs. These systems are complex and require a highly cross-functional team of exceptional engineers specializing in complex electronics, software, electrical, and hydraulic actuation. In this role, you will be tasked with developing, designing, and certifying both hardware and software aspects of the Flight Control Computer as a Cognizant Engineer. This includes designing and integrating interactions with interfacing systems, supporting troubleshooting of in-service issues that impact component reliability, and interacting with suppliers during the development, certification, and root cause corrective action processes. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, balancing technical product requirements with cost and schedule considerations. As a recognized authority in the field, you will select appropriate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to resolve complex engineering issues.
