About the position

The FMS Acquisition Manager, Senior at Diaconia is responsible for managing and overseeing various aspects of Security Assistance (SA) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs. This role requires expert knowledge in acquisition logistics, program management, and compliance with U.S. regulations. The position involves collaborating with multiple stakeholders, maintaining program documentation, and ensuring the successful execution of acquisition strategies to support both current and future FMS programs.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize expert knowledge in Security Assistance, technology transfer, and export/import compliance.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating program/project management documents.
  • Develop standard plans and operating instructions/procedures.
  • Evaluate and respond to Letters of Request (LOR) and formulate Letter of Offer and Acceptance Data (LOAD).
  • Support the acquisition program management of full life cycle TPA requirements.
  • Assist in the review of documentation and correspondence for Government review and release.
  • Provide assistance in cost, schedule, and performance risk assessment/management.
  • Conduct probabilistic and deterministic risk assessments on schedules using Monte Carlo simulation.
  • Assist with the development and collection of technical data and inputs for milestone documentation.
  • Communicate with multiple programs and enterprises throughout various program phases.

Requirements

  • Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, five (5) years in the DoD.
  • BA/BS degree and fifteen (15) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, five (5) years in the DoD.
  • Twenty (20) years of directly related experience with proper certifications, eight (8) years in the DoD.
  • U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DOD Secret Security Clearance.
