About the position

The FMS Acquisition Manager will support the planning, development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive systems support strategy at Robins AFB. This full-time position requires expertise in Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and related areas to ensure effective program management and compliance with DoD regulations.

Responsibilities

• Utilize and maintain expert knowledge in Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Security Assistance (SA) and related areas.
• Assist in maintaining and updating program/project management documents.
• Develop standard plans and operating instructions/procedures.
• Manage financial aspects of acquisition logistics resource requirements.
• Evaluate and respond to Letters of Request (LOR).
• Formulate Letter of Offer and Acceptance Data (LOAD) and Manpower Requirements Packages (MRP).

Requirements

• 15+ years experience in acquisitions, including at least 5 years in a DoD environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Knowledge and experience in USAF acquisition and DoD 5000.2 Series.
• Understanding of current DoD and Air Force acquisition regulations and processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with ATAAPS, DTS, DSAMS, and SAMRS is highly desired.
• Knowledge of logistics and maintainability programs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with budgetary or financial analysis and control.
• Understanding of life cycle cost analysis and control.
