About the position

The Senior FMS Logistics Management Support role at Odyssey Systems involves providing logistics management support for the Helicopter Program Office (HPO) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. This position focuses on supporting various helicopter programs, including the HH-60W Combat Rescue Helicopter and the MH-139, with the mission of delivering and fielding new and updated rotary wing aircraft efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide logistics management support to FMS Programs.
  • Assist in developing and documenting recommended logistics inputs for PWSs, RFPs, and CDRLs for assigned programs.
  • Collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions; provide technical expertise, recommendations, and advisory assistance to the Government in the management of 12 product support/ILS elements.
  • Draft documentation support by identifying product support concerns, risks, and issues; providing recommended courses of action, and monitoring all product support elements.
  • Prepare for and participate in program reviews, meetings, and/or working groups.
  • Gather and compile information to support briefings/working group meetings, preparing briefing charts, and finalizing meeting minutes.
  • Assist in the preparation of budget estimates and evaluation of cost, schedules, performance, and program risks.
  • Evaluate change proposals, draft directives, military specifications, and standards for logistics program impacts.
  • Assemble OEM/Supplier CPARS inputs.
  • Support briefings, letters, and planning/coordination support for meetings.
  • Conduct research and perform analysis to assist in determining hardware/software designs' ability to meet rotary wing system requirements.
  • Monitor OEM/Supplier Interim Contractor Support planning for the weapon system until it becomes organically or contractor supported.
  • Monitor/track supply support requirements and provide recommendations for procurement and availability of supplies.
  • Support the development of the maintenance concept and requirements for the life cycle for all levels of maintenance.
  • Review and assess the SE/ATS programs and make recommendations to ensure proper SE/ATS availability.
