The FNS Clerk Cashier at HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital plays a crucial role in providing clerical, cashiering, and administrative support within the Food and Nutritional Services department. Responsibilities
- Process diet orders and patient requests accurately and timely.
- Prepare and correct patient menus based on dietary needs.
- Maintain accurate records such as meal count sheets and patient logs.
- Operate cash register, including collecting payments and balancing cash after each meal service.
- Serve food to visitors and employees courteously and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards for diet changes and meal service.
- Communicate any patient care issues to appropriate personnel.
- Clean and sanitize work areas and food service equipment as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- One year of experience in healthcare food and nutrition services preferred.
- Clerical experience preferred.
- Fingerprint clearance required.
