The Flight Operations (Ops) Crew Resource Planning Consultant at Southwest Airlines plays a crucial role in supporting the company's mission of connecting people through reliable and affordable air travel. As a key member of the Crew Resource Planning Team, the consultant represents the team's interests across various departments, participating in meetings and committees as assigned. The responsibilities include leading and supporting analyses, evaluating strategies, and making recommendations to enhance performance measures and reporting. The consultant will also conduct research and analysis of trends, developing new processes, tools, and reports to improve efficiency in Flight Operations Crew Planning, Scheduling, and Training. The consultant is responsible for the accuracy and evaluation of the Pilot Staffing headcount model and the Training Resource Planning model, innovating additional capabilities and efficiencies as needed. This role requires a strong communicator and strategic thinker who is eager to make a meaningful impact on crew resources, supporting the company's fleet, network, and strategic plans. The position is hybrid, requiring employees to work onsite at the Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX, at least three days a week, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
