About the position

The FOH Manager at Chick-fil-A is responsible for overseeing shift management and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for guests. This role involves supervising team members, maintaining operational standards, and addressing any guest issues that arise during shifts. The manager plays a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the team in all aspects of shift management.
  • Supervise assigned stations for an entire shift.
  • Open or close the restaurant following established procedures.
  • Ensure Team Members follow recipes and accurately prepare orders.
  • Maintain accuracy with weights and measurements for recipe items.
  • Ensure Team Members work at a pace to meet speed of service guidelines.
  • Keep workstations clean at all times.
  • Ensure cashiers follow cash handling procedures.
  • Execute proper security and cash handling procedures.
  • Monitor cleanliness of dining room, restroom, parking lot, and overall facility.
  • Address guest issues and consult with management on complex issues.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with employees and provide direction and feedback.
  • Communicate employee performance and policy violations for appropriate handling.
