About the position

The FOH Shift Supervisor at Dividend Restaurant Group serves as a working team lead for the Front of House (FOH) team, ensuring adherence to company policies and delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role involves supporting management in training team members, maintaining high hospitality standards, and contributing to the restaurant's operational success without having salaried management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct table visits throughout the shift to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with guest recovery to resolve issues before guests leave the restaurant.
  • Support management in guest experience and loyalty development.
  • Maintain good energy and a positive image to guests and staff during the shift.
  • Assist management with training and developing team members.
  • Encourage the team to deliver the highest level of hospitality per DRG's Core Pillars of Sustained Success.
  • Help management achieve targeted budgets, goals, and objectives.
  • Display ownership of DRG's vision, values, and leadership.
  • Demonstrate solid knowledge of policies and procedures.
  • Show thorough recipe knowledge and awareness of food and beverage quality/safety.
  • Report any misconduct or violations of company policy to GM, DO, and Human Resources.
  • Complete all shift checklists, daily paperwork, and routines within the restaurant.
  • Ensure profitability of restaurant operations by operating within food costs and labor productivity guidelines.

Requirements

  • 1 year of Casual Dining, Upscale Casual Dining or Fine Dining experience.
  • Strong communication skills with enthusiasm and a passion for hospitality.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, assist, and identify training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Professional conduct.
  • At least six months of related experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
  • Responsible Liquor Service Certificate.
