About the position

The Audio Technician role at Live Nation Entertainment involves managing audio equipment for live events, ensuring high-quality sound production, and collaborating with various teams to facilitate successful shows. This position requires a blend of technical expertise in audio systems and strong interpersonal skills to interact with artists and production crews. The role is crucial in maintaining the audio quality and operational efficiency during events, contributing to the overall live music experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform Load-in & Out of band equipment and rental equipment
• Set Up and Break down of Band and Event Equipment
• Cabling and patching while collaborating with the crew
• Make audio adjustments and maintain safe audio levels
• Operate Audio Control Boards
• Oversee visiting audio techs during shows
• Protect, maintain, and repair audio equipment
• Assist with Production throughout the House as needed
• Support the Production Manager with technical advances with Artists' representatives
• Ensure proper care and handling of all Company and rental audio equipment
• Interact with visiting production crews to ensure a successful show
• Distribute or create audio plans
• Oversee and operate audio systems throughout the venue
• Schedule and execute audio needs for Special Events professionally
• Maintain relationships with local & National Audio Vendors
• Perform maintenance and repair of sound, light, and stage equipment
• Assist the Stage Manager with show passes
• Help the lighting crew with stands, microphones, cables, etc.
• Assist with any Special Events operations

Requirements

• 3 years minimum Tour and Stage Production experience
• Experience in stage lighting, pro audio systems, and basic video systems
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency with all Microsoft applications
• Superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• High School Diploma
