About the position
The Daily Ration is a locally owned and operated fast casual breakfast and lunch restaurant located in Chattanooga, TN. We pride ourselves on providing a welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service to our customers. Our restaurant operates from Monday to Sunday, 8 AM to 2 PM, allowing our staff to enjoy their evenings with family and friends. We are currently seeking motivated and reliable Front of House (FOH) staff who are passionate about delivering the best customer service experience possible. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn and grow with our team. As a member of our FOH staff, you will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the restaurant. This includes taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and ensuring that customers have a pleasant dining experience. We are looking for individuals who possess essential skills such as efficiency, prioritization, a sense of urgency, clear communication, and a helpful attitude. While experience in the restaurant industry is preferred, it is not a requirement, making this an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates. We offer a flexible schedule with the potential for 20 to 30 hours of work per week, especially as we approach our busy season. Weekend availability is a must, as we aim to provide our customers with consistent service throughout the week. Requirements
- Customer service skills

- Valid Driver's License
- Restaurant experience (preferred but not required)
